This policy covers the native field-measurement workspace: drawing boundaries, estimating site quantities, keeping evidence and sharing reports.
Your field records
Project names, boundary points, excluded zones, notes, rates, calculated figures and preferences are saved in the app's storage on your device. Site photos and voice notes are stored as files in the same app container. The measurement workspace does not upload these records or attachments to a project-storage service.
Location and map imagery
If you ask to use your position, the app requests location access while you are using it. Coordinates place boundary points and the recorded accuracy can appear in the report. You can decline and place points manually. Apple Maps supplies imagery and processes map requests for the area being viewed. Offline sketch mode draws from coordinates without map imagery.
Photos and voice notes you choose
Camera access is requested when you choose Camera to take a site photo. Add from library uses the system picker and gives the app only the images you select. Selected photos are copied and may be resized for storage and reports. Microphone access is requested when you choose Record a site note; the recording is saved locally when you stop and attach it. Declining camera or microphone access leaves manual measurement available.
Opening published documents
Opening Privacy, Terms or Support sends a normal web request to the published page host, which receives ordinary connection information such as an IP address and browser request details. These requests do not include your saved boundaries, estimates, photos or voice notes. The published document website is delivered through Cloudflare and includes its web analytics script for browser visits. The app's native document viewer disables JavaScript. Website visit information is separate from your locally saved measurement records. Manual measurement, saved projects and report generation remain native tools; Apple Maps requests are described above.
Copies, retention and removal
Saved field records remain available until you delete them from the workspace or remove the app. A shared PDF or copied text becomes a separate copy at the destination you choose. Removing a record from this app does not recall copies in Files, another app, a message or a recipient's storage.
